Received a call and right away the person on the other end of the line said "this is Cynthia with Direct Energy and I need to speak to the person who handles the energy bills". I told her NO she needs to remove me from their list because I never gave them permission to call me and that I am on the DNC registry. Of course she hung up. Called back and got some guy named James. Told him the same thing and that I am not dealing with their scam. He wasn't willing to help, instead he seemed to think I was dumb enough to believe that they are not a scam and they are only trying to lock in my energy rates. UGH, why don't these people get real jobs????
