I did have some work done by Home Depot, and earlier on had issues that when installers/or the store called, they did not come over as Home Depot or installer name so I started working with a department manger at the store and specifically told them that either they ID or leave a message. I don't really like to answer calls that come over as a city and state. The install went great but we really need to get our jobs back from across the pond. So fedup living in US and not getting a person that does not have a "heavy" accent or they ask for personal info they do not need. FYI, you can ask for someone stateside. I have. If they tell you it's impossible, go State Attorney General or corporate.
It is a follow from Home Depot. We had carpet installed. The installing company called a couple of days after the project for a short survey. They alerted us to the fact that Home Depot would be calling a couple of days after them and asked if we could share our satisfaction with Home Depot as they rank their contracted installers.
We used Home Depot for a flooring install and a door install in the past couple days, so it would make sense for them to call us on a follow up, except for the fact that we already got a call from the contractors who did the work within 3 days of project end. And if they wanted follow up, why didn't they leave a voicemail?
Answered this # from a call previously. During my conversation, I stated I was not interested in doing a survey for my recent installation with Home Depot. Since then, they have called me every day, 2x a day. When I called the # back, it goes right to voice mail and states "they are sorry they missed my call," no other info provided or anything. Very annoying.
