Political calls, charity ad some survey's are exempt from the DNC. Using sequential dialing from a dialer or computer which does not recognize if your unlisted, on the DNC or if you don't give it out.
You have to take the time to look up all the political party's ad tell them directly to not call you. Then, if any of the candidates call you, you go directly to their website, most have them, and use the contact us page and tell them directly not to call you!
Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.If its a cell phone, there are free call blocking apps out there including trac & straight talk.
