I called these clowns more than a month ago, left a message as requested; they're just now getting back to me?! WTF? Good thing my computer wasnt out of action! What if my question was about that kind of problem? I guess I'd be screwed.............
Indeed the number belongs to ASUS tech support. And yes, they really are clowning around when you need immediate support. Ohh well, at least got my issue resolved. Better late than never!
[***] Crooks - bought a media player from them - never worked - and they were ignorant and only one guy was any help. I thought this was a toll free 800 type number. The bill came today for my first call 48.98 plus taxes
So this useless pice of junk has cost me in excess of 250.00 dollars now.
The computer store I bought from even told me after that ASUS service was a piece of [***].
Guess I will junk it and learn from this if it is ASUS forget it. I see real nightmares about them on other websites.
