the company is unknown they used this number to call TONS of people they apparenltey switch up numbers like crazy-im not sure what crap THIS compay was peddeling but after digging it seems like the companies using these numbers are looking to gain personal info and if you attempt to call the number back you just get a message about it can't connect and try the call again

Called our office.  It's an automated phone service that identifies itself as "Sarah with Card Holder Services" who is calling regarding your eligibility to lower your interest rates.

"To talk to a Customer Service representative about this offer, Press 9" - so I did.

I was connected to a real life human being who wanted to know if I was interested in lowering my interest rates.

I said no, that I was more interested in what company he represented.  He replied Card Services with Visa/MasterCard.

I asked him what his name was - which is when he hung up on me.

I tried to call the number, but it comes back as "disconnected."

IF you gave them your credit card number call your card services and have them cancel out the number and issue you a new card with a new number (not a replacement card with the same number).

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The Missouri attorney general is warning consumers about a phishing scam concealed as a call to lower your credit card interest rate.
Consumers say the caller claims to be from "Card Services." You are then asked to dial a number which is typically 9 if you are interested in lowering your credit card rate.
Then, you are asked for your credit card number to see if you qualify for this lower rate. Attorney General Chris Koster says it's just an attempt to steal your credit card information.
"This is a typical phishing scam, in that it tries to play on consumers’ emotions and excitement at the idea of saving money," Koster said. "But as always, consumers should never give out their personal information to anyone who contacts them."
