I just received a call from a Dura-Coat representative who started by telling me that they were sending the new catalog and then proceeds to tell me that I have an outstanding 8 can backorder – what colors would I like.  He then tells me that I am required to complete the order.  I told him that I did not sign any agreement and he then says that they are a wholesale group and I must have misunderstood but I am obligated to complete the order placed three years ago.  He put me on hold to contact the “shipping department” and then takes me off hold and says they adjusted the order and I only have to but 3 cans.  I told him I am buying none and then he tells me that that will result in a $500 restock fee.  I hung up and then he calls back trying to press, I hung up again and did not answer on follow up calls.
I feel better now – but this does tend to increase the blood pressure…..
