Well guess what folks. This number belongs to our old pals who call and tells us this message is for (long pause - no name) and asks us to give Ms Daniels a call. Yes, you got it, I received yet another call from these people. Keep on calling Ms Daniels we are getting closer to finding out more information regarding this matter.
May 1, 2008 @ 3:40pm est. "This call is for (long pause - no name)... please call 1-866 (I didn't get the rest of the number) regarding a personal business matter." They identify themselves as a "professional debt collector.
I get this same call 2 - 3 times a week... mostly in the evening. As best as I can recall, this is the first time I've gotten the call in the afternoon. I'm in area code 770.
Got a call from LDG Financial about an old supposed bill, the woman was very rude in conversation and I ask her not to call me again. She said she would call me everyday if she wanted. I said ok, thank you and hung up. She immediately called me right back and ask if that is how I conduct business. I told her I did not know who she was, what company she worked for, and why she was calling. I ask to speak to a supervisor and she transferred me to a man who was no more professional than the woman was. I asked them to send me something in writing and to quit calling me. He said he could call everyday if he wanted. I said if the calls continue that I would go to the BBB and Attorney General. He would not give me the address of the company so I could write a letter. He asked if I was a “professional” at avoiding my bills. I have never dealt with anyone like this. Well, I got the letter in, there was no company listed for whom I owe the debt, just an amount. UMMM…are they legit? I really don’t think so.
