We moved out of our apartment two months before the lease was up, because our upstairs neighbors were having explicit sexual activity in the bedroom right above our nine year old son's bedroom. We complained numerous times, but the management never fixed the problem. Anyway, I am sending you a link to a site that gives you a script to follow nand the federal and state law to recite after you tell the collection acency that you do not want them to call you anymore. After you tell them this and send them a certified letter, it is AGAINST the law if they call you. You can actually receive damages if they continue to call you after you tell them not to call. Property Management firm, Sentinel Corp, went to evict me but I left first. Now they want seven times the monthly rent. I have to go bankrupt. My attorney will be calling them. That should stop the calls.

MY CASE IS SIMILAR. LOOK FOR MY GENERAL POST. I HAD A SIMILAR SITUATION. HE IS FROM HUNTER WARFIELD COLLECTION AGENCY. SENTINEL CORP IS THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT GROUP THAT HIRES THEM. THEY CALLED MY 85 YEAR OLD FRIEND WHO WAS USED AS A REFERENCE FOR AN APARTMENT. THE SO CALLED COLLECTOR, PROBABLY NOT HIS REAL NAME, CAME RIGHT OUT AND ASKED FOR MY PHONE NUMBER. BECAUSE OF THIS, BECAUSE THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT FIRMS GREED I HAVE TO GO BELLY UP BANKRUPT. GOOD JOB SENTINEL CORP. IN MOST CASES, IF WE HAD THE MONEY WE WOULD PAY IT AND PROBABLY WOULD PAY IT SOONER RATHER THAN LATER IF GIVEN HALF A CHANCE
