I have received several calls from this number over the past few days... when I answer there is no response. I tried calling the number back and got a message that "all circuits are busy". Blocking this number
This phone number keeps incessantly calling my grandfather's cell phone. He's elderly and hard of hearing, and they call at all hours of the day, sometimes multiple times a day. It's always dead silence, and when I tried to call them to put a stop to the calls I received bogus messages, most saying that the line is busy and whatnot. The only thing I can assume is that it's a telemarketer and when they hear an elderly person with a speech impediment on the other line they hang up. Very frustrating, ugh!!
WARNING: THESE ARE BOGUS CALLS. They have been calling me for months. First there was nothing but silence and now my voice mail states it's General Electric Home Security - which is a load of crap. GE Security only manufacturers security equipment they do not provide or sell security services.
I probably have received a 100 calls for free security systems from various companies over the past 9 months. Now it three four times a day. It's all a scam. These are not legit companies. Most of the calls originate from overseas and they change what is displayed on your phone. All they want is your personal information. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION and do not call them back. All you are doing is confirming that you are a real person with an active number and you will start receiving more calls.
Also, if you have a voice mail REMOVE YOUR NAME FROM YOUR VOICE MAIL MESSAGE. Just state your phone number in your message. It's one less piece of identifying information you are giving away.
