woman said my FPL bill was past due - said I had to pay it over the phone or service would get cut off. I said go ahead [***] because I have a generator upon which she really got upset. What a scam. Tried to call back on the number but it is disconnected. Somehow they come up with numbers on caller ID that are disconnected so that they can't be traced.
Woman called and said that since my electric bills are so high, she was sending an assessing agent to determine what ways that I could save. I asked her how she knew that my bills were high and she responded "I just know" and when I asked if she even knew what power company that I had she said that she did. I asked her what that was. She got angry and asked me if I wanted the assessment or not. I said no and she slammed the phone down. Hopefully she won't call back.
