Called about a check that I wrote, and I don't write checks.

got a call from this person named joseph calling about a check that i wrote and i dont write checks.

A 'Joseph from FFT & Associates' has also been trying to reach me. On both occasions (01/24/11 and 01/25/11), this Joseph has left me a voice message with requests to call him back at 877-683-5490.

I've heard in my circle that there is a phone number that asks you to call back. If you call it back, it navigates you by pressing numbers and buttons to reach someone. It turns out, the minutes one spends navigating through the number, the phone company charges an outstanding amount on your bill they cannot remove from your account and you must pay it.

Simple rule of thumb- don't answer or call back numbers you do not recognize.

The Do Not Call Registry apparently doesn't stop this persistent little booger from calling or leaving me messages: 877-683-5490 ask for Joseph.
