2:15PM 02/28/11- I hate that this 813-379-2460 'Joseph' answering machine keeps trying to reach me. The 813 area code is from Tampa, Florida...whatever that means. Please do not call back the call back number 'it' leaves.
Do Not Call Registry apparently does not work for this joker.
I have recently gotten voice mails from FRONTIER FINANCIAL GROUP from a Tampa # also. 813.498.2619 & 813.774.3207 & 813.498. 2600. (Tampa #'s) first from "Joseph"(also the iffice leader) playing "dumb" & saying he wasn't sure if he had the correct person or # he had just dialed!!! He briefly mentioned he had a check that was about to go over it's statue of limitations & if "I " was the correct owner of check to IMMEDIATELY call him to settle the matter over phone(HA) or if indeed he had the right person time was up by week's end & I would break Florida's extreme bounced check law. I would be committing a felony & would go to prison.
He gave a 1.877.683.4900 # to call back @ in HENDERSON, NV! I played along for fun,fully knowing my rights as I had already settled with ACE cash advance 18 months ago! I did bounce a check w-ACE due to identity theft thru FBOOK,where I had to immediately close my account w/my bank & start my "credit life" all over.
I paid all debts to Ace in a month past the due date of advance , so they had right to charge it off immediately& that's how Frontier found out about that situation (ID THEFT). I also received several calls from a very friendly DEE DEE@ Frontier. She has a calming,sweet demeanor ,but DO NOT TRUST HER!!!
To end this BOOK I've written, FFG tried everything legal & Not to pay them via phone immediately. I stopped them dead in their tracks after a week of "chess moves ", until I finally shut them up, by asking for proof they bought debt & provide it in writing. They shut up quick!!!
They are illegitimate with all they did w/me ,so I write this out of concern for folks that fall easy for a friendly voice wanting $$$$,over the phone...
I will copy & paste forms you can use to shut up any debt collector that isn't legit...

I wasn't able to copy & paste a 3rd party validation of ownership of debt,because of the way I saved it on my iPhone & currently am without computer as I'm saving for a macBook, but here is a link to a site with a plethora of info that would help any consumer being hounded by these "junk debt buyers". Simply reading the scenarios tells you what to do!

Simply asking for proof from the junk debt collectors in writing puts an end to anything not legit!!!
