Just got a voice mail from a woman citing a "claim number" and for me to call them back. This is indeed a scam making its way across the country. They are hoping to intimidate people into paying on a loan from a payday loan company that was charged off. Once you call their bluff and tell them to "file the charges", or "serve you" the phony court papers, you won't hear back from them for a while. But if you tell them you are reporting them (and their phone number) to the FBI, FTC, the Department of Justice, State Attorney General, etc., they will definitely leave you alone.

I recieved another call from this company after I had this number blocked from my phone. The new number is 813-400-2063. they again were hostile and every time I asked for more info regarding what i supposedly owed them, they would state that I was refusing to pay the debt and hung up on me 4 times. I then called the loan company they stated i owed money to, and they said they had no account registered to my name or social security number. It is a scam!!!! Do not fall for it!!!
called to my mobile twice (3-minutes apart) ..Not available to answer each time. Left lengthy voice message. Identified as: Global Trust Management (??). A "Linda Lake" stated that they have attemted contact numerous times (including contact by post mail notification?) This phone call is the first time receiving any kind of contact from this telefon number. Never received the eledged notification by post mail. Not recommended to respond. Sure that it is a scam!

At first we thought this was a scam. Upon further calls from them and some research on our part, this turned out that it wasn't a scam and we actually owed money for this account. We told them to contact our attorney after they said they were going to sue us for Kay Jeweler's. Well, they did, and we settled a $1,600 + account for $500.00.
