They keep calling me and my Dad claiming I have "criminal or civil charges" against me, but won't give me any information since I refuse to verify my dob, name or ss#. They refuse to give their address. They claim they have no fax number. They say they can't give their information out because the company they represent requests not to have their information out. What the heck?

I am furious they called my Dad, who was so upset when they told him I had "charges against me". He is not in the best of health and I'm trying to see how to file a suit against a company whom I have no concrete information on.

Can anyone please help?  they say they are Metro Mediation Firm 888-298-9860, and used a "locator calling himself Henry Adams.813-422-7939. He said there were charges filed against me and I must verify my information to him in order that they be able to serve "documents, regarding a criminal or civil matter." HA!
