I don't usually answer calls I don't recognize but I did this once. The guy asked for me by name so I said he better not be selling anything or I'd report him to the FTC since I had his number. Immediately he pretended he couldn't hear me and I was still laughing at what a dingbat he was when he hung up his phone.

I keep getting calls from this 813-444-5945 and the ask for me by FULL name. They immediately start out with their money hungry travel sales pitch, and I let them continue wasting my time. When they are finished I tell them to remove me from their call list and that I will report them to the FTC and then they hang up. I'm still filing a complaint.
The person I talked to said he worked for Travel One. His name was Marvin Gomez, had an employee number of 86600054, and they have my information because I had a previous relationship with Marriott, Hilton, or Westin Resorts. When I asked him how he attained my number he hung up.
