Called asking for my wife. When I asked what it was regarding he said she had requested a callback for a "lower her credit card interest rate". I asked her and she said she never requested a callback for anything like that. When I told him that he immediately got a very pissy attitude, asked how he would know the last 4 of her social (which was correct) and hung up on me.

A legitimate business would come up with a reverse number lookup and this did not

A legitimate offer from one of her credit cards would not have reacted in this manner. Consider it a phone spam
