These people have been calling me for several weeks, and tonight I spoke with them for the first time. Before I would confirm any information, I asked the caller to tell me where they were calling from, and he said: "I'll tell you that when you answer this question." Well, he's dealing with the wrong customer to say that. I said, "NO, you answer my questions and I'll answer yours." I asked him again where he was calling from and he said Florida. I asked what city in Florida; after thinking abot it he said, "Tallahassee." I did a quick google search while i was on the phone and saw that Tallahassee is not in the 813 area code, so I then asked him to tell me what time it is in Florida. He said it was 6pm, which was not correct. I gave him a chance to correct himself, and I said "I want to know exactly what time it is...to the minute." He couldn't answer and then he said, "You tell me what time it is in Florida." I wasn't about to concede the power by answering his questions first. He proceeded to yell at me and I yelled at him and told him not to call back, and I hung up. These dudes are frauds. If there was really a claim against any of us we would have received an email and/or letter through the mail. My account with this company was closed and paid in full a long time ago.
Received a call today from a Keith Davis regarding a previous Pay Day Loan that I had with Ace Cash Express and wanted payment in full and requesting my credit card/debit information.
I personally contact a local Ace Cash Express office which I have had a previous pay day loan and have paid in full and they stated that they have no pending claims against me.
Just another company trying to take advantage!
I got a call from this number actually this was my 3rd in over a year and a half. I recognize the voices and they always give a weird name like today was John David and he always said he is an officer of some sort. The first call I ever recieved from this number tried saying I never paid my pay day loan, which was paid in full about 5 years ago. (I even called them and they verified it was paid) the second call was regarding the same about 6 or so months later. Today they called and left a message saying he was an officer saying my social security number has fraud reports against it and they need to verify my social number. And he was threatening me. Very very rude and so not true (with my bank I have idenity theft protection and anything that tries looking at my credit or using I get an alert right away). I want these threateing calls to stop its getting very very old.
These people are a fraud!!! do not verify any information with them, they are just trying to commit identity theft. I am reporting this number to the police in Fl.
I got a few calls from this number at my place of work. The caller left messages saying I was in legal trouble. When I called back they wouldn't give me the name of their company. He would only give me his name, John Davis. The calls are coming from a call center in Pakistan. If you call the number back over and over and over again (more then 25 times) and harass them as I did they get pretty upset. They still wouldn't give me the company name or what debt they were trying to collect but I have a feeling they won't be calling me again. My advise to anyone who gets a call from them is to call and harass them and give the number to as my people as you can and have them call. Try posting the number on Facebook.
