this recorded caller said the irs is filing a lawsuit against me

Recorded message saying that it was the IRS and that they were filing an immediate lawsuit against me and to call this number back.  THIS IS A SCAM PEOPLE!  Do not call the number.  Report it and file charges.  Unless you do, these calls will continue.

These types of people won't stop calling me. I get calls from these types of people all the time. These people are fraudsters pretending to be the IRS. Don't become a victim of their predatory ways. Do me a favor and report them to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration. Also, report it to the police, too; just so they have it on file. It wouldn't be a bad idea to report it to the FBI, either. They unfortunately scam many people, mainly the elderly and young adults. NEVER GIVE THEM ANY MONEY!!! EVER!

I got a call and voice mail from this number that i have a lawsuit against me by the IRS. When I called back the guy said can you verify few things? I said you called me you tell me... So he gave me the name and address and said you are been suit I said the IRS never makes calls everything is been done through the mail do he raised his voice and said we delivered the letter twice and you were not there to sign, I said you are a thief and I will report you to the IRS right now

Been calling me many times a day and claiming they are IRS and going to file a law suit against me. I called the number back, and they asked if I was Jim. I told them no one by that name here. They asked what my name was and I did give it, but right afterwards they just hung up. About an hour later they called again, and left the same recorded message that it was IRS and it was my final notice that they were going to sue me. I called my local police department to report it, and they advised me to contact the Attorney General's Office in my home state. I will be doing that.
