Telephone number 813-498-1573 called me on Jan 22, 2015 (Thursday) at 1042am. The caller ID showed Out-of-Area. I did not answer the phone. And then:

At 1237pm also on Jan 22, 2015 (Thursday), I received a call were the Caller ID showed my complete name and the number calling my personal landline number, I was calling myself!!!!!!! I have a single landline and I was not calling myself because this would only give me a busy signal. And why would I do that? I am a retired Verizon employers. These scammers are really stupid!!!!!! There are trying every trick in the book the get you to answer the phone!!!!!! I live in Florida now. Is it the state?

No it's not the state you live in. Caller id spoofing ( which is legal in most states, as long it is not used to defraud) is used everywhere. These scammers will use your, or a neighbor's number, just to annoy you. after their calls haven't been answered for some time, or if you have answered their calls, and have been abusive to them. It's simply best to not answer any calls from numbers you are not familiar with.
Thank you for your response. I never answer my phone to unknown numbers and I blocked them, too. So I guess they do
not like me. Good so they can stop calling.
