I received a text from this number saying I won first place and to call.  I didnt enter any contest so this is unsolicited.

I just got a text message from that number as well, saying claim your winning tickets by calling 813*515*1817

You cannot win a contest you never entered & you cannot win a lottery you never bought a ticket on. Any such claim is a phishing attempt to get personal, or financial information, or to trick you into paying an advance fee. Any request for money - to get money - is a scam. Every time.

Got a text saying I won free vaca to Bahamas and to call this number.

Just like above can't win if you never entered.
