I am not sure why they are calling me, but if you do answer...recording plays "please stay on line" for several loops. I actually stayed on the line for a bit to get them to stop calling! Every hour on the hour. Up until 9:00 pm. Different numbers sometimes (Chase/JPMorgan Chase/Unavailable). Wow. They seriously need to learn better business means.
Calls my house every hour from this and other numbers (13-374-4300 & 602-221-6136) starting at 8:01 a.m. until 8:59 p.m. trying to collect on a Chase student loan for one of my children. This student loan was supposed to be deferred until six months after graduation. My child is STILL IN COLLEGE and is only a junior and they are already trying to collect. They have been very rude and argumentative and refuse to listen to anything you try to tell them. I have repeatedly requested that they stop harrassing me and they said they will continue to call us until they get a checking account number. They don't even care that my child is still in college and have refused proof of enrollment.

The college library I work at has been receiving calls from 8135843017. On the caller ID it shows up as CHASE. When I picked up the phone had an automated message that said Please Hold while I connect your call.
When a person did answer, they didn't speak English. I told them this is a college library. They laughed and repeated what they said. The phone line had a lot of noise and I could hear many people in the background talking on other phone lines.
I think this may be a scam. If it isn't, it sounds like their collections agency isn't doing a good job. I do use Chase as my bank and will report this to them.
This is Chase. We are calling to inform you that your account is past due. We received your request of a hardship deferrment and it has been denied.
I told these folks I would lose my job if they did not stop harrassing me. They flat told me they did not care. They said all their concern was is the loan outstanding and they would continue to call until it was paid.
Well, with not job now, GOOD LUCK!
