I received a recorded message. It did not say my name. said it was adocumented effort to reach me.Said call was from a law firm. Gave name of law firm but I cannot remamber it. Said it was about a complaint against me.

Mans voice on answer machine and at the end a womans. Man soundedon deaths door. Woman sounded old.
not sure if its dept or something else. he was calling for a family member. said she used my number as a reference yet didnt ask me anything. hence i think debt collector. told me to have my family member call him.

Received a call from this number this morning. Message stated to call a Mr. Smith at Austin, Davis & Ross Associates regarding a personal incident. Research on the internet says it is a debt collection agency established in March 2012?
Received the same call as DM. It was the same Mr. Smith from the same firm.
I suspect that they are trying to contact a neighbor (I received this same call years ago) who has a credit issue. They roam the area for neighbors close to debtor and ask them to relay a message. The last time I simple told them to go "f@@k themselves". I guess I'll need to repeat it again.
Calls him self Mr. Smith try to cellect a 1800.00 for braking Lease contract which I never done. calls several times. I told him to call my attorney and refuse to call him saying he only wants to talk to me. I had a friend call him to get info and act as an attorney office which he succesfully accomplish but Mr Smith didnt want to give information cause is confidential according to him. My friend ask him what office he was calling from because no attorney will refer th them self just by last name, and refuse to give it, my friend also told him he had a release of information signed by me and that he needed a fax number to fax it to him and Mr Smith hagned up the phone.
