Received a text from this number. That's a new twist! The message read, "Hello, this is john Matthew from from debt collection agency. There is a law suite file against you by the cash advance which is a parent company the amount pending on your name which is $1986.31. If you want to resolve this matter than Respond ASAP at (213) 283 - 7941" Poor "john" must have an inferiority complex as well as being somewhat illiterate. My response was, "You must be high". I actually received a response! It was, "$1986.31 is including court fees, late fees, document charges So if you failed to pay at least $400 till Monday then we Released your Arrest Warrant from here" My response was, "Bring it on". There were no further replies.
Got a text for this exact same amount due to "bank fraud - returned cheque". Obviously not American due to spelling. Told them to keep sending info as police wanted as much info from them as possible. No further contact.
