Who called from 8136665417

Received several emails from this person wanting a website developed.  After some research we found multiple scam attempts from this number - source: http://www.whycall.me/813-666-5417.html - After calling him and asking him why he would be so stupid to contact a security company with years of experience working with Law Enforcement (which is what we specialize in)  - he had response.

At the time this call was made it was registered as a  Google Voice Number (currently scam heavy use on those) and he used a loopback ip to send in the contact form on our website.  The loopback resolved to a known blacklisted host cybaaspace.net (icaan link - http://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=www.cybaaspace.net) hosted by Network Solutions.  You do not have to  be a genius to figure out this guy is up to no good by the trouble he is taking to conceal his identity when seeking out or offering his services.

As a security based firm we will be contact everyone appropriate from his email provider to his hosts and his local authorities.  Hope this helps someone in the future avoid a scam.  Like the other people on the page listed above he used the same name Jetty Eliot at phone number: (813) 666-5417.

It should read - "he had no response"

Abuse has been filed with all of the appropriate service providers for this individual:

Name Used:  Jetty Eliot
41.71.217.28 - loopback ip used
212.100.64.18 - resolved loopback ip
cybaaspace.net - resolved domain (reported via phone and abuse form completed to Network Solutions)
[email protected] - email (Reported to Microsoft)
(813) 666-5417 - Google Voice Number (Reported to Google)

ICANN link - http://whois.icann.org/en/lookup?name=www.cybaaspace.net

The other correction on the last paragraph should read - "As a security based firm we will be contacting"

To verify this was a scammer we take all precautions.  We setup a phone call with the individual in question telling him we were responding to his email request for a website.  He has a very thick Nigerian accent (uneducated accent - we have Nigerians on staff), refused to make small talk with us over the phone or give out any identifying information, and would not discuss any details of the website he had requested. He refused to deal with us over the phone stating that he would only deal with us in email.  100% verified scammer.

As a private international security firm it is our responsibility to report these incidents to the proper service providers and authorities and to make the necessary information available to the public.
