I received a call from this number indicating that I was going to be arrested. Funny, they wanted me to call them back and let them know when I would be home so they could come arrest me. This is a big time scam! I have blocked the number, but they just use another number.
I recieved a call from 8137083255 stating that there was several documents stating that I owed a debt to payday loan mind you I have never gotten a payday loan nor do I have a checking account and that if I don't settle out of court that I will have a warrant .. The caller was forgein and was very rude kept saying omg I've been told this is a scam anyone have any input this person has also asked me not to involve a third party
Sounds to me like a garden variety Indian or Pakistani debt scammer. Asking you not to contact anyone else is a sure sign of a scam. Ignore and block the calls.
I contacted the FBI and sheriff department definate scam and the forgeiners keep trying to call under a different number with the same area code I am trying to ignore them all and only answer recognized numbers
