Caller identified himself as from this pest control company, said they'd be in my neighborhood tomorrow and wanted to give me an estimate. I told caller that I'm on the Do Not Call Registry, I have an unlisted number, I do NOT wish to receive sales phone calls from anyone, and to not call me. Caller argued, said he could call anyone he wanted to since they collect no money over the phone, then he PROCEEDED with his annoying sales pitch anyway, telling me he could offer a 40% discount etc blah etc. I asked him to please stop, telling him he was violating the law by continuing the call. He became angry and said, "Well, if that's how you want to be! We're just offering you a service and a chance at a great deal." I repeated, "Don't call me again." Afterward, I looked up this number and company on Google, and they have a history of disregarding Do Not Call registry and making telemarketing calls to everyone regardless of the Do Not Call Registry in violation of law.
I reported them to the Do Not Call Registry. If you get a call from them, please report them too, so they can finally be fined for blatantly ignoring and purposefully violating this.
recieved a call from this number. man said he was with Pest Bear and that they service my neighbors and would be in my neighborhood tomorrow and they would like to stop by. I filed a report on donotcall.gov because i am on the do not call list and I have never done business with this company.
