Must be the same guy. Instantly rude. Just called with the same gimmick. He asked to speak to the maintanence manager. I told him that the maintanence manager was not available. He asked who deals with lighting here, that he was returning a phone call and didn't get the guy's name.
I asked him what kind of lighting he was referring to - ie: if we had special emergency lights or something for the outdoor lighting... he asked what the maintanence manager's name was again, and that he was returning his phone call.
I had enough of the attitude about this point, so I told him that if he was returning a phone call, he would have a name of the person that called.
He hung up.
This guy does not deserve our business.
Very rude little a-hole named Mike kept telling me he needed the guy he works with on lights. I ask him exactly who he needed, and he said the building manager who deals with lights "you know the things you turn on and off". I told him he was a rude [***] and to take our company off his list and hung up on him.
A guy from this company has been calling me for the last week asking for the building maintance manager. When I tried to ask more questions, he stated that he was Stanley, the lighting guy. When asked what it was in reference to he stated the lighting. He would call at least 3-4 times a day and then asked me to page the building maintance manager. Finally, after several attempts to get him to stop calling, I finally put him through to the building manager. The building manager actually hung up on him and told him to stop calling here. I then spoke to the building manager and he said the guy was trying to sell him lights and he finally had to hang up on him.
This guy called and said "I was wondering if you could help me. Actually, why don't you put me through to [owner's first name]." I asked who was calling and he said "Ray". The owner wasn't in, so I told him so, and asked if he wanted voicemail. He said "He's not in his office? Why don't you go ahead and page him? Tell him it's Ray, the lighting guy." That's when I remembered I had read the reports on this number before. I quickly came here to look it up and sure enough. So I told the guy he wasn't in and again offered voicemail. He asked for the owner's cell phone number and I said I couldn't give it out. Finally he gave up and asked for voicemail.
He didn't seem to have a bad attitude, just kinda pushy.
