Guy called and asked for the name of the person in charge of maintenance "again". We don't have such a person. I knew he was a telemarketer and stalled. Phone call lists have the incorrect name of a former manager. When this caller asked for that person, I began to tell him that was name we made up to screen telemarketers. He told me not to give him that. At that point I said, "F___ you" and hung up.
They hire telemarketers to cold call. When you answer they ask who is the warehouse manager. If you don't have one, they hang up in your face. If you do have one, I wouldn't give them the information. No need for rudeness right off the bat, that is a red flag. Probably won't be much fun to business with a company like that.
RUDE. Don't know who they want... will probably send material you don't need or want and bill you for it if you tell them the name of your "Maintenance Manager" which is all they keep insisting talking to. Guy was a complete and total jerk. I hung up on him twice if that makes those who got hung up on feel any better.
same as others...this guy said he was just on the phone with our warehouse guy, what was his name again...click I hung up, if he was just on the phone with him, he would have known his name
Scammer. Don't even bother picking up the phone. They told me they wanted to send me a catalog and a "free gift" for the holidays, gave them the address of my company, then they tried getting me to buy things I don't use. I've had calls like this before and if you agree to buy the items it is a ridiculous price (i.e. $500 for fluorescent bulbs). I told them to send me the catalog and would go from there and they hung up on me.
