The caller asked for someone who does not live at my address. This is not the first time someone has called asking for this nonexistent person. The caller was extremely rude and did not give me a chance to correct their mistake.
A person called me from this number saying they were from Goldsteins and they tried to collect on a bill I already paid. They told me I needed to get proof that I paid it and so I called the party that I paid. That party is Vandenberg Chase and Associates, they said that they would provide proof but they still haven't. After I started looking into these companies I found that they buy old debts from companies and it is a total scam. Do not give them money!!!
Have you been able to fix the problem with this lady? I am getting calls from her. I have tried to find out who they are all over the internet and this is all I came up with. They cant really get away with this can they?
ive done my investigating on this particular company and it shows where they haven't done anything wrong ive even called them acting as if i was an actual client of theirs....an they have done nothing out of the laws during the investigation...its not considered harassment if you pick up the phone and you talk to them...it is only considered harassment when they continusly call you after you have told them not to.....not when you don't pick up the phone and then they call again...this particular company is legit and all of their paper work, certifications, licenses, an etc...are legit this company is not a scam at all they are hired to process suits against people from creditors who can't collect a debt from debtors, if you become upset about them doing their job then that's on you but it's not fair to them when they are hired by someone else.....you people on here blow the word investigating out of proportion..it only means they are looking for answers to get to the bottom of the situation....look up that word..this company is doing nothing wrong just their job....and probably half of you people on here haven't even spoken to them just going by hear-say...the call is probably not for you...you were probably used as a reference...on something which makes you the next person to contact...people get yourselves together and stop labeling everybody out to be bad.....just bc it happened once to you or a friend doesn't mean that everybody is out to get you....ATTORNEY AT LAW Darryl STALLWORTH ...you can google me if you want..thanks you all have a wonderful morning
