yup same here, they tried to verify my DOB and i wouldn't reply. I asked what the purpose of the call they said i took a loan and my check bounced in 2007! I told him false, everything i ever had closed in good standings and i monitor my report. I said I wanted documentation of all records then he changed the subject and ended call.
Got the same call today, but not before they called my stepson and mother-in-law looking for my husband. Amber from national processing saying we had 2 counts of check fraud from a payday loan. I am concerned that this is a scam because when I said I couldn't pay the amount they wanted by the end of the week, but could make smaller payments to pay it off "Amber" got hostile said they couldn't except that, and told me to get a lawyer after I said I wanted to talk to the lender before I payed anything.

Received call on my home phone looking for my sister from a Brooke Johnson stating she has 3 counts of check fraud out of our county on her and she needs to call her ASAP before the information gets forwarded out her office and to call her direct line 855-680-8566 but called from 814-201-5192
