I KEEP RECEIVING PHONE CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND HAVE LEFT A MESSAGE WITH THE NUMBER TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST. I WORK ODD HOURS AND THEY DISRUPT MY SLEEP. IF THE CALLS DO NOT STOP, MY NEXT STEP WILL BE TO REPORT TO DONOTCALL.GOV WHERE MY NUMBER IS REGISTERED.
Did you actually try calling the number back to see who it was? I doubt you did. If you had, you would have heard the automated voice say, "Thank you for calling the American Red Cross." They were probably bugging you to donate more blood or something.
It is the Red Cross. However, when I try calling them back to see what they wanted (which I am sure is to donate blood again), it is a menu with different options to pick from...
This is actually NCO financial collection company useing a new technology that changes the call back number to a legit organization. Highlyscrupulous and illegal.
