Caller claims to be Laura Smith. Says that your electricity bill is past due by $500 and will be cut off. She advises you to go purchase a $500 prepaid debit card and then call her back with the card #. Ha. Yeah, like ComEd would let anyone rack up a $500 bill. This is an ongoing scam.

This low life called and said my power bill is past due and will be turned off in one hour. She did not identify my particular electric company but spoke with a Spanish accent. Beware this smells like old fish.
Just got a similar call today from the same phone number. Said that my power would be shut off in 30 minutes if I didn't pay my electric bill. Filed a complaint with the FTC Bureau
Got a call from a guy saying his name was "Luis" Spanish speaker, same BS about electricity bill and power was going to be shut off. They must be getting greedy, They wanted $1000.00 in a money order....HaHaHaHaHaha!!!!!!! Gave him the telecomunications finger.....
