I picked up, and it was clearly an automated call talking about lowering my credit card interest rate. I was pretty suspicious, because I don't maintain a credit card. It offered an option to dial 1 to connect to an operator, so I did. I got a scratchy connection to a guy who seemed like he wasn't really prepared for the call. When I asked what company he represented (because the automated portion had been generic) he said that his company worked with Chase, Citibank, and Bank of America. I told him that I have no dealings with any of those companies, and disconnected.
