I work for Heller Motors in Pontiac, IL and we just had a customer call us telling us that whoever is calling from this number is using our name on the caller ID. We were hit by a tornado last week (not devastating, but bad enough), and as such have been on the news. Some scammer is using our name on the Caller ID and saying they are collecting for charity. We are NOT affiliated with these calls in any fashion
I do not understand HOW they get away with thsi I would think there would be a law to protect people in a disaster area from a scam like this! So sorry that it happened in your area.
