It was a telemarketing call to install apparently some sort of alarm monitoring system. The recording just jumps into ..."install a monitoring system.." So it doesn't give any forethought to what company is actually calling you. It said to press 1 if interested, otherwise press 2 to removed from our calling list. Since it was a voice mail, obviously I didn't have the opportunity to press anything...
Called this number back and it said to press 1 to be removed from this calling list and allow 48 business hours to do so after I selected that option. No business name given but I did get a automated call for home monitor system the other day when I did answer a similar call but a different number.
just bought a house and am getting flooded with these "home alarm / protection service" offers via mail and "robo calls" if i don't have the number in my phone i kill the call then blacklist on my call blocker.
