I know who this is! I called the number back. Apparently it's from a company called "Degree Match". It's about colleges. If you call it back, listen to their message and it'll tell you how to get on their "Do Not Call list" (You oress 4 I believe).
They called and said I had requested to be matched with a college, which I had not and told him so. He started asking for detailed personal information, such as date of birth, year of high school graduation and etc.. I refused to give him any information. He said he could not help me if I did not give him the requested information and I told him that I did not request his help, so how did I know he is who he said he was.
He eventually said he could not help me because I "refuse to cooperate", and he hung up on me.
NOTE - I am on the National Do Not Call Registry and have been for MANY years.
I got a call from this number and it was a man looking for my 15 yr old daughter and when I asked who he was he would not tell me and said sorry he could not help me today and hung up. Part I found out to be the weirdest is he called her by her nickname not her real name.
