Usually, I don't pick up the phone when I don't recognize the number. This time around, however, I foolishly did just that when this number came up and heard nothing but dead silence on the other end. At any rate, looks like I'll have to invest in some kind of call blocker.

Caller ID "unknown name" = Scammer. Internet search shows "pay day loan scam".

received call on my cell phone at 4;23 p.m., 6 minutes ago.  I did not pick up.  No message was left.

Every single month, same thing.  No msg, no number; nothing. It's not legitimate if they will not leave a msg, number or name and why they are calling.
