Rec'd call 5:50pm sat, 12/26/2015. My ans. Machine outgoing msg. Responded. Anon. Caller left no msg. And hung up. Has anyone ever wanted to set up an auto-dialer to repeatedly call back these anon. Callers? It's tempting alright. Or instead, is it true that if one picks up the receiver, says nothing, then the caller tries to hang up, if one just keeps their receiver off the cradle, the caller will be unable to use that line again, until one hangs up their receiver? After maybe twenty seconds one's phone starts a loud buzz. But if one just lays their receiver under a small pillow or towel, the buzz is not an issue. So is this true? Please tell us if you know?
