ERSI is a debt recovery organization, except that we do not owe anyone anything.  They asked for my husband but hung up before he could get to the phone.  When I returned the call listed on caller ID, I dialed in the name of the person.  He gave an invalid name that was not in their directory.  So, I faxed them at 1-815-899-1950 stating that I would report any further calls.  http://www.ersionline.com/ [email protected]

This guy Alex called for something in 1999. I informed him I have never had a Verizon wireless account. We've always had AT&T. He said well, I have it right here and yes you did. I told him, that I, in fact just checked my credit report on all 3 reporting credit reports in January and there was no collections for Verizon. The IDIOT said "well it wouldn't be on your credit report, because it was back in 1999, I just want to bring the account current" WTF? It's not on my credit report and I am going to pay him because "he" wants to bring it current? Is he nuts? I guess when I said, I would have my financial advisor and attorney check into this, he didn't say anything...... he hung up!

I called Verizon to find that they have NO record of me ever having an account with them. My first and only cell phone was from AT&T. I've been with them since June 2000. Beware of this guy!
