Card scams

Them - "Hello, is Thomas there?"
Me - "Sorry you have the wrong number."
Them - "Okay.  There is no message.  We will call again later."
Me - "No please don't ever ca-"  *click*

I think it's some automated system that sounds like a real person.  Seems kinda shady.

This number calls, asks for "Jennifer". I report this is not Jennifer and the person/computer says "oh, well maybe YOU can help me. I'm collecting for Veteran's Affairs". Last month it was cancer research and again the person/computer asks for Jennifer and once they hear this is not Jennifer, the voice goes on to say.....maybe you can help. Total scam. Block it.

Just called. Did not answer. Scammers are everywhere. Never answer a call you do not recognize. Let it go to voicemail then research the number.

Same as previous posts, calls with the wrong name for veterans affairs.
