I am on the do not call list but I answered anyway it showed "Smithville Missouri" it was a recorded message regarding a free dinner at a local restaurant that was obviously to sell some type of energy product, most likely solar. It was almost comedic on how stupid it was. Needless to say I won't be going to the meeting and this number is now blocked.
Same as "Hammer" above. Recording about a dinner at a local restaurant to discuss how to "make your home more energy efficient." I called the restaurant, and the person I spoke to said they do have a reservation but no name associated with it. I explained that it's a telemarketer and should be reported. I provided the Missouri number that called me. Unfortunately, I am not sure of the extent to which the person I spoke to at the restaurant understood why I was giving her this info. Sigh...
