I received a loan offer from VA loans and was advised that I needed to provide them with my bank account information and access to my account in order to monitor the deposit. As it turns out the company deposited a fixed check and my account was placed in jeopardy. I reported the transaction to a bank officer and they advised me to file a police report. The agent was very rude to me when I questioned the transaction and I advise you not to deal with these guys for a loan.

What is a "fixed check"?  How did you hook up with these people?
