Calls almost every day early in the am. Says it is Direct Assistance on my telephone. I never answer but I have been getting alerts on my computer everyday. I know it is a scam. I just had my computer checked before and after they called. I have to turn off the computer to do anything when they break in.
OBVIOUS SCAM OPERATION. Anonomys foreign speaking man insisting he had an error report on the windows computer in the home, What a joke!!!
told him to have a nice day and hung up. Hope no one falls for these type of scams. My caller ID showed (816-555-0198) & V92220134800037 in the place where the name should be.
these people have been calling me at least 5 times a day for the past week & they called again tonight... at TEN THIRTY AT NIGHT and woke me and my husband up!!! It was a man but I could barely understand what he was saying since he could BARELY speak English! I did catch that he claimed my computer was sending out an "URGENT ERROR" message and that I needed to get on the computer with him so he could "fix it" for me.... AS IF I WOULD!!!! FREAKING SCAMMER for SURE!!!!!! PISSED OFF and now unable to sleep!!!!!!!!!!
