Received two voice mails from Rebecca about 5 minutes apart. In both voice mails she said she was with Universal and needed me to call back at an 866 number. I have not done any business with a Universal in Kansas City so I am assuming it is a scam.
Called me saying we were behind on a burial plot when I told her our account was debited from our account, she stated that they just took over billing for the funeral home. When I told her my bank account showed that the bill just came out on the 3/3 she say anything and kept insisting that I give her my card number to keep from getting late fees. I told her I would call her back after I checked with the funeral home that has our plots.
They called me today and told me that my account was overdue & my credit card on file was fake! It took me a minute to realize that I did not know who this company was. They were trying to get my credit card information. Scam! Watch out!
