I received the same number and on the same date (816-666-7575, 20 May 2013) also,
I do not know who it is from, but, because I have received so many strange calls,
I just hit the speaker phone button twice, which opens and closes the call quickly.
I have also chose a phone that has call blocking, of course I have to have an option
with the phone company as well, it is worth it to me, I am sick of the parasites calling
at all hours of the day and night, if they insist on calling again and again, I block them.

I received one call from this number at 10:44am on May 22, 2013.
Attempted to return the call several times throughout the day in case
it was a legitimate communication, but after 2 rings or so, the busy tone activates.
No message left, of course.
With the 666 following the 816, I was rather curious and a little creeped out.
Was the Illuminati trying to reach me? Lol.
I received information that the block of numbers starting with 816-666-7 belongs to http://bandwidth.com/. I filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. I suggest others do the same.
