I got the same message as Lynn did. I called the number back on a public phone just to see what the scam was. I got a recording that they put a freeze on a visa card and they wanted the number on the card to release it. I wonder how many fools fell for it.
Got the same call telling me credit card did not go through, and there was an error. Problem was we had made a purchase that morning so thinking call could be lagit. Fortunately decided to call the company first and did not fall for this scam. Just knew not to give any personal information out.
