This phone number keeps calling my mother's cell phone and when she answers, the line drops. She's had me call this number back several times to find out why is it that they keep calling get phone but this number can't accept anymore voice mail recordings.
I walked back and they told me it was about a civil lawsuit. I'm pretty sure it's scam. They called my wife by her maiden name and we've been married far too long for her maiden name to be popping up like that.
WARNING - 816-984-2819 is a scam! They say they are a "Locating Agency" and that someone has filed a legal complaint against you and that you have to call up "JSR Consulting" (844-332-1175) with a case number to resolve it all, otherwise the calls will continue. I asked "why isn't JSR calling me directly?" "why have I received nothing in the mail (ALWAYS GET SOMETHING IN WRITING)" "why do they never leave a message?" - they could not answer any of these questions. If you google the JSR number and look at their webpage it was obviously cobbled together by someone trying to pass themselves off as legit (their office is NOT the imposing building pictured; instead if you google-maps the address it's in a California strip mall next to a Cash Advance and a Ross Dress For Less), their verbage on page itself tells you nothing about who JSR consulting is or what they do - make sure to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTCcomplaintassistant.gov) and also make sure your phone is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY (donotcall.gov).
