This number called me and said they had a tow set up for me in New York. I live about as far from New York as one can live and when I called back it said non working toll free number. What is the scam though? What information are they getting?
I Didn't Recognize The Number 817-355-3405, But When It Called Back I Answered It & Was A Call Back From Verizon Wireless's Roadside Assistance Program. They Were Calling Me Back To Verify That My Requested Call For Auto Towing Service Had Been Completed. I Think This Automated Number Calls People On Behalf Of Several Different Auto Club Companies. Hope This Helps Everyone.
