Got a call where a gentleman who asked if i lived at (insert address here), he had it correct, and said he was calling in regards to my home loan and that new guidelines have come out. He then stated my interest rate that i had (which he had wrong). I told him i am actually a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer, and magically, he hung up the phone without saying another word. Please peolpe, do not fall for this scam...always ask for the companies, and the individuals NMLS ID #, then go to www.nmlsconsumeraccess.org, where you can look up the company and individual with the numbers they provide you. Do not release any personal info until you verify them on this site. Just some friendly advice.
