Prior to receiving an unsolicited call (and a message) from this number, I got a LinkedIn request from Nicole at APA Services, who I immediately blocked. Why would you contact someone that is already employed? That is ridiculous, and makes them quite possibly the worst "staffing agency" ever.

After blocking Nicole's attempts to connect with me on LinkedIn, I received an unsolicited inbound call from her, where she was so bold that she decided to leave a message on my voicemail, which did not state my name or any other identifying information about me. This message was sketchy, obviously scripted, and sounded like a commercial claiming that my information "came accross her database" regarding "hot new jobs" as a mechanic in Oklahoma City. APA Services is either the worst staffing agency ever, because they just want to put people in open positions that they need to fill, or they are paid by the amount of "information that comes across their database", as in the number of profiles of professionals that they harvest/poach by harassing/ stalking online.

I cannot imagine that their strategy of placing outbound cold calls to these profiles of harvested/poached young professionals from sites liked LinkedIn (where users likely blocked/refused their request to connect immediately) is well received. Apparently they think that a "pool of potential candidates" can be created from their online data mining/ stalking excursions, where success is collecting a phone number that is not disconnected, on which they decided that they were confident enough to leave a message (without permission) on the voicemail of any unknown number that they stumbled upon. I do not have my name on my voicemail greeting, so there was no possible way that Nicole was even sure this was an accurate number for me. Despite that key detail, she left a message anyway, ensuring to use my first name, as her script that she regurgitated into my minute and a half message surely encouraged her to do when cold calling victims like me. APA Services is so desperate
that they consider any poached phone number that is not disconnected to be a"qualified as a lead".

How many others will they harass? How many of their young professional victims are already happily employed at a full time job, have PTO/sick time, retirement, excellent health plans, had no prior experience with mechanics, and do not even live in that area of the country where this pathetically desperate company is offering their "services"? If everyone is receiving the same message that I received from APA Services, then I fully expect to see their name in the laundry list of dummies in open class action lawsuits, as they are so tacky, shady, and repulsively aggressive in their terrible headhunting techniques that they have resorted to gathering information on people without their consent, which is a pathetic, desperate move made by companies pushing products or opportunities that no one wants, like APA Services.

One day they will leave their deceptive, unsolicited messages on unverified, nameless voicemails with their name, time stamp and inbound phone number, on the wrong voicemail. This voicemail will be attached to a number belonging to a young educated professional, who is both having a bad day and happens to know enough about Federal consumer protection laws prohibiting this activity to put skeevy companies like APA Services in their place!   And hey, if you're that , educated professional hero willing to stick it to them, then high fives to you! I say let 'em have it!

Oh yeah about this number, just block them, if you haven't already. They are a really annoying (and apparently really bad at headhunting) "staffing agency" (lol) that probably data mined your information without your knowledge or consent.

For those of you with time to kill, here is the terrible website to that awful staffing agency: www.apaservices.net
Sketchy Nicole's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/nicole.apa.90
(looks fake to me, but I blocker her after grabbing the link, so IDC)
And the link for the 1 star reviews for APA: https://www.facebook.com/pg/APAaviationstaffing/reviews/
(check out the first 1 star review where one of their victims is trying to blast them right on their own Facebook page for data mining and being sketchy, but they STIlL try to get him to cough up his email address! Unbelievable!)

There is one possibility you have not considered. Someone has given your information to APA Services to
1) recruit you to their business without revealing they are seeking you ...
OR ...
2) someone you work with is trying to get rid of you, and is hoping you will "seek employment elsewhere".
